Knit Pick

How to play

1. Each picture is made of spools — one per colour run in a row. A spool shows the exact units it still needs.
2. Only the front 3 skeins of the dispenser queue can be pulled. Pick a skein, pick a spool of the same colour, choose how many units to feed.
3. A spool absorbs only what it needs: units fed past that are wasted (−2 points each). Waste nothing and complete it in one feed for a Perfect Knit — chained Perfects pay 5, 10, 15…
4. One skein can be split: finish one spool, then feed the rest into the next. A half-filled spool simply waits, half-filled.
5. Surplus yarn blocking the queue? Toss the skein — its remaining units are wasted, but your combo survives.
6. Score = units knitted + Perfect Knit combos + row and picture bonuses − 2 per wasted unit. Knit all 3 pictures; the yarn gets tighter every level.
7. Stuck? The Hint button is free — it points at a Perfect Knit whenever one is on the table.

About

A cosy knitting puzzle about quantities. The dispenser deals skeins of yarn, each a colour with a numbered, finite length. Unwind them onto the spools of a pixel picture: a spool completes only at its exact unit count, one skein can be split across two spools, and every unit you overfeed is wasted forever. Feed a spool its exact remaining need for a Perfect Knit and chain the combo.
